Unfortunately, it has been found that there is a security problem with different flash units from different brands.

The 230V mains voltage may be applied to the ignition wire of the flash tube. If the device is switched on and accidentally the ignition wire of the flash tube is touched with the hands or conductive materials, there is a risk of a life-threatening electric shock.

If you want to be sure that your flash unit does not have this problem, please contact us. We can test the devices and fix the problem with affected devices.

Predominantly, cheap devices produced in China are affected, but it also has devices produced in Europe that have this error.

We list here a list of flash units which we continually expand, which in our opinion are safe or unsafe. This however without legal warranty.
