The Deep Rota Softbox from the walimex pro Studio Line is a professional light shaper to give portraits that special something and the special light touch. The 16-cornered and thus almost round Deep Rota softbox creates beautiful reflections in the eyes of the model and has - through the deeper construction than normal beauty dishes or flat soft boxes - a very special lighting effect. The flashlight comes even more directional and focused on the model and achieves more depth and a more interesting image effect at the same time soft and even illumination.

Ingeniously simple construction

No more uncomfortable handling with rods and parts: The new Quick Assemble "QA" softboxes of the walimex pro Studio Line can - according to their name - build up very quickly and very easily and, of course, dismantle and stow away after use. The ideal solution not only for photographers who need to quickly make space in the studio after shooting, but also for photographers who want to use the Deep Rota Softbox for outdoor portrait shootings. Folded up and stowed away in the spacious carrying case, the complete Deep Rota Softbox incl. Softbox adapter (available separately for all flash systems), inner and outer diffuser and honeycomb or grid is so compact that it fits in every setup and is therefore always there. To set up the folded Softbox simply with the Speed ??Ring / softbox adapter down to the floor and tightens the Deep Rota Softbox like an umbrella until the holder in the umbrella rod audibly and noticeably engages. Then turn the Softbox upwards so that the Speed ??Ring is on top and fix the fabric to the four longitudinal Velcro strips / straps - so everything is taut and no unintentional flash light can exit at the side. The Quick Assemble System lives up to its name and saves precious time for every photographer - whether beginner, amateur or professional.

Connection to all flash systems and flash heads

The Deep Rota Softbox can be found above the enclosed walimex pro softbox adapter to connect to your flash unit or to your flash heads. The softbox adapter is then simply placed in the Speed ??Ring (quick release bayonet) and fixed with the four screws - and the Deep Rota Softbox is ready for use with your flash head. For transport in the supplied carrying bag with shoulder strap, the softbox adapter can then of course remain mounted. Another gimmick: On the various softbox bags each type of softbox and the size is printed - so is the tedious search for the right softbox in the "Lichtformer fundus" finally a thing of the past and you have the right Lichtformer with a handle Hand.

Including diffusers and grid

In order to use the Deep Rota softbox for all desired light settings and to be completely free in the modeling of the image, the softbox comes as standard with three accessories: grid or honeycomb, interior diffuser and exterior diffuser. The inner diffuser is simply connected by means of sewn-on Velcro straps with the tabs provided in the softbox center. The outer diffuser is attached with the wide Velcro strip at the top of the softbox. There is still enough room to fix the grid or the honeycomb. This is fast and gives the photographer more freedom and opportunities to experiment with the various insets and essays.
