The compact 14mm wide-angle lens by walimex pro creates unique recordings. The wide-angle forms with the same Subject distance from more than the standard lens. The walimex pro lens is suitable for the whole range of wide-angle photography, especially landscape photography and shooting indoors. The strong sense of depth to the wide angle shots provides space for creative photography.

Enormous width and large depth of field
The lens has a short focal length and thus takes advantage of the APS image sensor. With a minimum focusing distance of just 28cm suited the manually focusable Wide Angle Lens especially for sharp, high contrast images from close range. Thanks to the excellent lens speed of 1: 2.8 optimal shots are possible even in low light conditions.

High-quality optics
The outstanding imaging performance is due to the complex optical system. This consists of two aspherical ED lenses (extra low dispersion), which reduce chromatic aberration. Thus images are created with a balanced color balance. The permanently installed lens hood also prevents any disturbing side light and lens reflections, which would lead to loss of contrast.

Lens with AE chip
The lens has a built-AE-chip and does not have a separate aperture priority ring more. (The picture shows the predecessor). This makes it possible to choose the aperture from the camera ago to have to drive either automatically using the rotary control or with P mode. All EXIF ​​data is transmitted to the camera and stored with the image.
