Optimum viewing angle - perfect close-ups
The walimex pro 100 mm macro lens is a classic portrait focal length and at the same time it provides wonderful close-ups.
Used at the APS-C camera, looks a picture angle of 15.4 °, which corresponds approximately to the visual impression of a 150 mm lens. The very practical luminous intensity of 2.8 does not change. It not only provides an extremely bright viewfinder, but also the possibility of exemption by lowest depth of field. The lens is very well corrected out and convinces with a very high distortion-free performance. Of course, all lens surfaces are multi-coated to increase contrast of the images and, if necessary, to avoid reflections. Rounding out all through precise mechanics, clear latching aperture values ​​in high-quality metal frame. The manual focus moves comfortably and easily.

Internal focusing
The lens is equipped with an inner focusing. Lens groups are moved inside, the overall length of the optic will not change, even the front mount does not rotate during focusing. Flow and polarizing filters should be easily recognized (size 67mm).

Optical design
15 lens elements in 12 groups reveal a huge effort to get a powerful look very good. Despite the central image angle hardly aberrations are recognizable even at full aperture.
